This policy explains how Customs Trade & Business Group SRL (“CTB Group”, “we”) collects and processes your personal data, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Belgian law of 30 July 2018 on the protection of personal data.

Data we collect
- Contact / appointment form: name, email address, phone number, company, subject and content of your message;
- Business relationship: professional contact details and information relating to your import/export operations exchanged as part of our services;
- Browsing: technical data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) via cookies — see the Cookie policy.
Purposes and legal bases
- Respond to your requests and get back to you — pre-contractual measures / legitimate interest;
- Provide and manage our customs compliance services — performance of the contract;
- Comply with our legal and accounting obligations — legal obligation;
- Improve the website and, where applicable, measure audience — consent / legitimate interest.
Recipients
Your data is processed by authorised CTB Group staff and, where necessary, by our technical subcontractors (hosting, IT tools) bound by confidentiality. It is never sold. It may be disclosed to the authorities where the law requires it.
Transfers outside the EU
Your data is in principle processed within the European Union. Any transfer to a third country is governed by appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses or adequacy decision).
Retention period
Prospect data is kept for up to 3 years after the last contact; data related to a contractual relationship and accounting obligations is kept in accordance with legal time limits (generally 7 years in Belgium).
Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent at any time. To exercise them, write to contact@ctbgroup.net (proof of identity may be requested).
